​​​Q: This price for Yoga Online Teacher Training sounds too good to be true. Your price is really low, are there any hidden charges for tutoring online or phone calls?

A: To become registered with the Yoga Alliance you WILL need to complete, in addition to the online studies, 1 weekend intensives at a location in Texas.  This will give you the hands on training for adjustments, assisting and touch.  Your hours are still recognized by the Yoga Alliance for Continuing Education hours credit, but you MUST be in the physical presence of the LEAD trainers to be able to receive the 200 RYT.  This will be an additional $500 for this all inclusive training retreat on February 9th & 10th 2018.

Q: How long will it take me to complete this online course?

A: You have one year to complete your Online Yoga Teacher Training. However, the training is material can be finished in as little as 12 weeks with study and proper time management. 

Q: How much time should I expect to spend on homework?

A: Expect to spend between 2-3 hours per week on written assignments and class observations. There will be other assignments that can take up to 20 hours in total.

The Kula Initiative Online YTT 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification is recognized by Yoga Alliance as fulfilling the non-contact hours towards their 200 hour certification. If you are seeking Yoga Alliance registration, upon completing the home-study program, you must also complete contact-hours during an in-person yoga teacher training to complete all requirements for your 200-hour yoga teaching certification with Yoga Alliance.  The contact-hours portion of the 200 hour requirement will be scheduled to occur during a Kula Initiative TT Retreat that will occur during or directly after your online training course.
